Plasma Rich Platelet

TREATMENT

WHAT IS IT?

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is an effective treatment for the reduction of lines, wrinkles, uneven texture, scars, hair loss, and more. PRP is derived from your own blood and contains an abundance of growth factors, which provide many healing and rejuvenation benefits.

the process

1

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) treatments involve drawing a small amount of blood and spinning it in a centrifuge to separate your plasma from the red blood cells.

2

The concentrated plasma is than reinjected into your areas of treatment i.e., scalp, face and neck to restore collagen, new cell formation and healthy tissue.

Types of Treatments?

Bare Beauty offers several Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy options to treat a variety of concerns.

PRP for Face Treatments

PRP facial treatments aim to reduce the visible signs of aging, improve the tone and texture of your skin, and restore lost collagen structures for an overall younger-looking appearance. PRP therapy can be used to treat lines, wrinkles, and sagging skin underneath the eyes or in other areas where volume and skin elasticity has been lost. It is also affective in improving acne pitting scars with advanced subcision.

Unlike traditional dermal filler, PRP does not offer instant results, but improves the quality of your skin and tissue overtime – typically within 6 to 12 months. Optimal results of PRP injections can be seen when combined with mesotherapy and other facial services.

PRP for Hair restoration

PRP for hair restoration is a treatment that stimulates the formation of new cells, tissue, and blood vessels in the scalp. The injection of PRP increases blood flow to the treated area, healing damaged follicles and improving hair quality and thickness. This treatment is effective for receding hairlines, thinning or excessively shedding hair, and patterned baldness in both men and women.

PRP therapy for hair loss is a quick procedure with minimal discomfort and downtime. For best results, a minimum of four treatments are recommended. You may begin to see improvement within 4-6 weeks, but most benefits can be observed after 4-6 months.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS:

Does it hurt?

Patients are usually quite comfortable. We apply numbing cream to the areas that are more sensitive.

How long does it take to heal?

A few days to 1 week. You can resume back to your regular routine the next day. We recommend social downtime i.e., alcohol consumption and going to the gym.

What can I expect immediately after?

Depending on the treatment you are receiving. For both facial and scalp treatment, you will feel tender for the first few days. This tenderness and soreness will subside in a few days.

Is it safe?

Absolutely! Because you are using your own plasma, the risks of infection and allergic reactions are very low.

When will I see results?

The results are not as dramatic as filler results are. PRP is a treatment for improving skin and tissue health and will require a few sessions and commitment for results.
